Privacy Policy

Who we are: RentGuild ("we", "us", "our"). At this stage, RentGuild is a pre-launch waitlist operated ahead of a UK ICO registration being completed — see the note in the footer of the home page.

What we collect: If you join the founding member list, we collect your first name, email address, and, only if you choose to answer it, a free-text response to an optional question about your biggest frustration with renting. On the confirmation page we also record which founding price you were shown and, if you choose to answer the pricing questions, your answers. If you use the link in your welcome email to keep your founding price, we record that too.

Why we collect it: To confirm your founding member place, to contact you when RentGuild is ready to launch, to understand what matters most to early members, and to help set a fair founding price. We do not use your data for anything else.

Where it's stored: Your details are stored with Mailchimp (The Rocket Science Group LLC), our email service provider. Mailchimp is contractually required to process your data only as we instruct and in line with UK GDPR.

Double opt-in: After you submit the form, Mailchimp sends a confirmation email. Your address is not added to the active list until you confirm — this is a deliberate consent safeguard, not an extra hoop.

Your rights: You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email we send, or by emailing us to request deletion. Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your data, and to object to how it's processed.

Cookies: This site does not currently use analytics or tracking cookies.
